Back to Bologna, for its sixth year, Music Together Contemporary (Mico), an exhibition organized by the Foundation with the Music Together contribution of the Culture of Emilia Romagna. The Teatro Comunale, Mico inserted in the bill "The Other City", home to the five concerts scheduled in the Foyer Rossini from 21 January to 15 April.
Inaugurating the event is the Duo off (January 21 to 20.30), Italian artistic excellence but also a significant landmark the international scene for the vocal-piano repertoire from the twentieth century history to the present. The soprano Tiziana Scandaletti and pianist Riccardo Piacentini are involved in a trial that will combine experimentation and tradition.
The second concert (18 February) is entitled "Around Cage" because it revolves around one of the main musical events of the twentieth century, John Cage. The Ensemble Ars Ludi Lab team established in 1987 by the union of some of the best Italian percussionists, performs with the pianist Amedeo Salvato, winner of several international awards and premiere interpreter of various works of Italian composers. Concludes the evening the first performance of a piece by Alvin Curran, American composer for many years tied to Italy.

For the third edition (March 25), Daniele Furla, pianist and author of popular film scores, has a "Concerto for Piano and images "in which music interacts with the screening of clips from famous films.
For the last two dates, finally, are expected to FontanaMIX Ensemble (April 8), one of the most important of contemporary Italian art, which has its own roots in the humus of Bologna, with a program focused on the French composer Tristan Murail, invited to meet the public during the concert on April 15. A student of Olivier Messiaen, Murail has reached international fame in the mid-seventies, for being among the founders and leaders of the current aesthetic that goes by the name of Spooky, whose main references are in the production of Giacinto Scelsi and testing electro- with particular attention to the work of Iannis Xenakis and Gyorgy Ligeti
